What makes a strong pitch

Send a concise account of the subject, the central idea and why it suits Lively Fashion Journal. Name the particular question or observation the piece will explore, the kind of reader it serves and the shape you imagine for it. We favour precise, original angles over broad surveys, trend roundups or advice built around one ideal of appearance.

Writing and evidence

Contributions should be clearly written, specific and careful about what they claim. Explain unfamiliar terms, separate personal interpretation from verifiable facts, and use sources where the subject calls for them. Do not send confidential material or imply expertise, testing or access that you do not have.
