Editorial policy
Lively Fashion Journal aims to publish clear, useful writing about clothing and style. We distinguish explanation from opinion, take care with claims and welcome readers who flag mistakes or missing context.
Accuracy and corrections
We check factual statements against suitable sources before publication and take care not to present interpretation as fact. If a reader identifies an error or a meaningful omission, we review it and correct the page when warranted. Corrections are made plainly, with the revised text reflecting the best information available to us; we do not imply that an article has been tested or researched when it has not.
Independence and partnerships
Editorial decisions are kept distinct from commercial arrangements. Any paid, sponsored or partner material is clearly labelled where it appears, so readers can tell what kind of content they are reading. A partnership does not guarantee favourable editorial coverage.
Images and illustration
Images should support the subject without misleading readers about a garment, person or event. Some illustrations may be AI-generated; those images are identified as such where they appear. They are illustrations, not documentary evidence.
Getting dressed is a way of looking closely
Clothes meet the body, the day and the self-image we carry. We make room for those layers without treating style as a set of rules.
